What do we talk about when we talk about educational poverty? Rethink the expression pedagogically

The essay intends to investigate the variety of meanings attributed to the expression educational poverty in different disciplinary contexts and in relation to their historical-social birth, as well as its link with the social category of children. Some expressions introduced into the language risk being used generically, in this sense the discussion intends to pedagogically problematize the expression and try to outline some initial pedagogical reflections aimed at questioning purposes and perspectives of social and political meaning of education in the contemporary world.
