Abstract

The proposed contribution refers to guidelines, education programmes and legislative provisions that ensure the implementation of the principles of equal opportunities, the prevention of gender-based violence and all forms of discrimination in schools of all levels. In particular, a summary of the Italian legislative process is provided, with some references also at European level, offering a
framework for actions aimed at overcoming stereotypes, enhancing the contribution of women to culture, promoting relationship models based on respect and, in general, combating discrimination.
