L’istanza pedagogica dell’abitare per una vita buona nelle persone con disabilità

The article enters into the merits of living as a nodal issue for a good life for adults with intellectual
disabilities, privileging its intimate dimension. Starting from the Heideggerian definition of
living as an ontological dimension and prerogative of building and thinking, the article examines
the calls for quality living from the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and
describes the main articles dealing with this issue. The perspective of the study is pedagogical
and looks at the ways of possibilities for the promotion of the freedom of self-expression of each
person, placing themselves within a framework that enhances the dimension of the person and
the services dedicated to him or her, without neglecting the consideration of their ethical scope
for the promotion of an inclusive society.
