Abstract

This contribution presents a case study focusing on structuring a life project for a student with cognitive disabilities, beginning with defining and implementing the PCTO internship. Among the key findings, it underscores the necessity of utilizing the resources from this internship to develop a life project within a professional setting. The contribution aims to underscore the significance of integrating a disabled student into a workplace and highlights the proactive measures an employer can take to adapt their work environment for inclusivity. Furthermore, it outlines potential research directions to share and document the outcomes achieved through processes of cross-pollination and principles of "proximity."
