Culture of sustainability and economic citizenship. A thematic excursus

Abstract

Humanity is going through a period in which population density and lifestyles are increasingly less compatible with the existence of an environment that can meet the needs of health and wellbeing for the ecosystem and for living beings. Among the words that recur in today's cultural debate, sustainability configures processes and dynamics that involve the environment and the person as a whole. Economic education is essential to raise awareness of one's position as citizens of the world, through a process of progressive inclusion in the mechanisms of society.
