Abstract

The difficult climatic situation, due to the persistent exploitation of natural resources, requires an urgent consideration on how to protect the planet. The pedagogy is called to understand both the issues and the potentialities in order to start a smooth but constant ecological transition. Nowadays the idea of integral ecology stands as a key concept that allows to consider the connections in an intra and intergenerational key, but at the same time, it urges a sustainable, responsible and conscious progress. This change of perspective requires educational paths aimed to co-build a culture of sustainability oriented towards the common good, common inclusion, economic prosperity and a care for common home.
