Education, conscientization and emancipation

The contribution proposes a reflection on the role of education as a tool for emancipation in the perspective offered by critical pedagogy. After delving into the role of the conscientization of subjects in a condition of social vulnerability, the value of the collective project within which educational practice is carried out is analysed, finally discussing the meaning of education in an emancipatory valence.
