Abstract

Referring to the Capability Approach, this paper aims to provide an interpretation of citizenship education as a useful tool to fight forms of defuturization. It can be possible through the development of cognitive and non-cognitive skills, that play a crucial role to promote a sense of self-efficacy, agency, positive thinking and individual and collective well-being.
