Abstract

The paper explores the role of women’s poetry as a possible pedagogical tool to promote an ecological culture, interweaving poetic narrative and ecofeminist sensibility, with the aim of stimulating transformative awareness and fostering a profound dialogue between humanity and the environment. Through the verses of female poets such as Saffo, Emily Dickinson, Antonia Pozzi, Sibilla Aleramo and Sylvia Plath, a narrative emerges that celebrates nature as a matrix of life and a source of ethical awareness, offering a worldview that transcends the patriarchal paradigm and promotes an ethic of care and responsibility.
