Abstract

The path of growth and learning of each individual passes through different aspects of a cognitive, experiential and environmental nature. Contributing to it are not only the abilities of the pupil but also and above all the tools deployed by the teacher and the environment as a whole especially in consideration of the different needs and specificities of pupils. In this direction, this paper proposes some insights and operational proposals aimed at the inclusion of children with visual disabilities in relation to the teaching of art history. On the one hand, it tries to reason about the advantages of a multisensory experience for the whole class group and the stimulus that the teacher receives to innovate his or her teaching. On the other hand, it reflects on some concepts, taken for granted by us, which instead appear inaccessible to those who cannot see: perspective, color etc.
