The continuous change that contemporary society is undergoing requires a deeper look into the multiple directions it has undertaken, resulting from the sudden digitalization of the last years.
Through this social and cultural renewal, the community undergoes profound changes which, if on the one hand bring great advantages, on the other enhance pre‐existing problems, further increasing the gap between individuals.
This article aims to investigate, through critical reflection, the causes of the Digital Divide and the possible solutions. The Universal Design represents a fundamental modus operandi for creating an environment that is not only focused on accessibility but also and above all on usability, within which everyone, beyond their own peculiarities, has the possibility of expressing themselves without any obstacle.
