Alberto Manzi is one of the clearest example of inclusive education, because he had the purpose to eradicate the barriers that impede participation in learning, and was able to embody inclusion in ways that are still relevant today. He adopted a particularly functional theoretical-practical constructivist approach, since he used to take advantage of different channels, different mediums, and differentiated teaching strategies, to let children learn efficaciously. In different teaching environments (from elementary school to television, from prisons to Bolivian campesino villages) he found the best solutions to make the teaching-learning process effective and emancipatory, especially thanks to good practices as storytelling and cognitive conflict strategy.
