Adagio con anima. Rethinking the educating time of the school

This paper is an exortation to rethink the “agogic indications” of education, and propose sitself as a herald of a school that rediscovers the value of time and also constitutes itself as scholé, a place of otium, of time free from objectives and evaluations, from haste and immediate goals, from the eagerness to arrive and the anxiety to produce. It seems to us to be our duty to inspire another way of living the pedagogical category of time, a time for giving and for giving oneself, for discovering and for discovering oneself, for changing in accordance with the slow and unpredictable search for the self.
