The UNESCO 2021 Report emphasises the importance to establish Pedagogies of Cooperation and Solidarity. It is not enough to declare some values (solidarity, sustainability, inclusion) to be included in the school curricula, but it is necessary to identify the educational levers that can make these values alive and active in social life. One path to achieve this goal can be to enhance, in pedagogical and not only social terms, the cultural and educational contribution of voluntary services.
