It goes without saying that pedagogy must always follow a principle of reality. However, it should be pointed out that this principle of reality recalls pedagogy to keep in mind the historical, social, cultural, anthropological conditions that characterize and delimit the perimeter within which the pedagogical project, and, therefore, the educational action, must fall. Pedagogy therefore has the intellectual responsability to develop educational theories which, using clear and well-defined pedagogical categories, indicate in an equally clear and unequivocal way the path to be followed in the field of education with the relevant reference values. The pedagogist, therefore, needs to interpret and understand his own time and consider it in historical development, because the educational product needs long times, it is sown today for tomorrow. The pedagogist/intellectual has his reference points, his guiding and indispensable values in freedom and in democratic and anti-fascist values.
