The training of educators and teachers in the ECEC services is an important opportunity to reflect and validate practices of horizontal and vertical continuity aimed at building open and inclusive learning environments. This paper describes a training experience that involved in 2022 some Apulian kindergartens and preschools, with particular attention to outdoor education. The results have been positive for the curriculum design and the adoption of good practices of active citizenship.
