The contribution aims to present guidance as a process aimed at both the promotion and construction of personal and community sustainability that on the one hand gives the subject an important responsibility for self-determination but, on the other hand, asks institutions to become capacitative and agentive. In particular, he dwells on the role of pedagogy and of educators and teachers in promoting skills of reflexivity and planning.
