Abstract

The contribution is part of the theoretical framework of reference represented by the pedagogy of the course of life, lifelong learning and in particular adult education. The title “Living complexity. (Guidance) Towards an ecology of mind: individual, society, world”, wants to be, in the first place, a metaphor. The metaphor of living represents our responsibilities in an evocative and symbolic way: we are inhabitants of a house, referred to the Greek etymological root of the lemma ecology, which assumes the boundaries of our entire planet. The theme of guidance, developed on a theoretical level, is understood in a formative perspective, in the perspective of the ecology of mind. Ecology is understood in the sense of Gregory Bateson, in a systemic relational frame of reference.
