Purpose and Scope of the Magazine

"Per leggere" is dedicated to the practices of reading, interpreting and sharing works of Italian literature, without chronological or methodological limits. The journal is aimed at people involved in research and teaching in university and school settings and publishes readings (lectiones), commentaries and critical editions of works from the Italian literary tradition. A specific section entitled "Dialogues" is reserved for literary relations and the comparison of texts, while the section "Around the text" hosts discussions and reflections on the main problems of commentary, edition and translation of works, advancing working hypotheses and solutions, suggesting readings and research paths. The "Chronicles", dedicated respectively to editions and commentaries and to school and university publishing, offer a practical working tool for readers, critics and teachers. The aim of the journal is to disseminate reading practices and strategies that draw on and renew the tradition of philological and critical studies.

'Per leggere' is classified by ANVUR as a Class A scientific journal for all the competition areas of Area 10 and is listed and indexed on Italinemo (https://www.italinemo.it/rivista/per-leggere/).
