QUASIMODO E IL VANGELO DI GIOVANNI. PROBLEMI E SUGGESTIONI

Abstract

Quasimodo’s 1942 translation of John’s Gospel raises problems that are difficult to resolve. Alongside those already highlighted by Ravasi, one of which is discussed here, there is another, of great interest for our understanding of how the poet approached the sacred text. The translation shows a personal search for clarification of the relationship between man and God.
